raketherake for rakeback (see link)

Hi All,

I'm a man without an affiliate home.   Since I don't have a direct affiliate for a Merge site anymore I am now promoting using raketherake.com for any rakeback.   They have a very mature program with offerings for all the major (and not so major) poker sites out there.

Additional Rakeback Details on Merge

Feltstars shuts down - recommend players move to BCP or Carbon

so it was official this morning.   Feltstars has shut down its operations.   I guess I had a feeling when I updated my blog yesterday.   good news for players is that all players funds will be honored by the Merge cashier and will be transferred to the Merge skin of their choice. 

So on that note...   I am recommending players select either Black Chip Poker or Carbon.   These two skins are the most popular and seem to have the best customer service response.   Each of them also have pretty good representation on 2+2.   I personally started playing on BCP (Black Chip) again myself.    I had previously signed up through an affiliate back in June 2012.   In fact I reached out to this affiliate earlier this morning and he is willing to work with anyone to get new accounts with rakeback setup.    I highly recommend you use "imawhale" as your rakeback affiliate on BCP.    ->  http://www.imawhale.com 

Carbon is also an excellent option.   If you are interested in moving to Carbon, the affiliate I suggest is located at http://www.profrb.com   If you decide to use either of these options, please mention "vookenmeister" sent you.    They are both run by people I know and trust.

Recent issues with Feltstars processing player transfers and paying affiliates

All,

Been very busy of late with normal life as well as grinding, staking and doing online poker money transfer investing.    In late September I encountered some issues with Feltstars that has led to this blog post.   Those issues are discussed in detail in this 2+2 thread... http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showpost.php?p=35033098&postcount=12

Until these issues are sorted out I am not recommending people sign up on FeltStars. I expect this to be taken care of but until it does I'm not recommending new signups.   As an alternative I have been speaking with the owner of imawhale.com.    he has graciously offered that I forward new sign ups for the Merge network to his site.   Potential signs up would receive the same offerings as a member of the Black Chip Poker (BCP) skin.   If you are interested in this offering, please send me a private email at vookenmeister@yahoo.com

PS.    I owe a post on my August and September results.   They are brutally disparate.  August was my best hourly win rate ever at something like $52 an hour followed by a $9 win rate in September (yuck!).    I'll update at some point in the future.  However, first I wanted to get this message out.
